Phillip Sterling

Phillip Sterling is the Minister at the First Christian Church in Beebe, AR. He has been married to his wife, Cindy, since August 31, 2001. Their first son, Cameron, was born on October 1, 2001. On January 5, 2015, their second son, Raymond was born.

Phillip was born in Springfield Illinois. He grew up just north of Chicago until moving to Arkansas. In Arkansas, he lived just outside of Hot Springs. He attended the Arkansas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Little Rock.

Phillip graduated from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Journalism/Public Relations in 2003. Phillip earned his Masters of Arts in Christian Leadership from Liberty Theological Seminary in 2012. Phillip was ordained on April 28, 2013 by Brother Pat James at Osceola First Christian Church.

Phillip is a fan of NASCAR, the Chicago Bulls, Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears. He is also a fan of the Arkansas State Red Wolves, Florida State Seminols, and Northern Illinois Huskies.

Cindy grew up in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She has a Bachelor's of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Liberty University. She has a wonderful voice and enjoys music. She also enjoys teaching children. Cindy is currently serving as Worship Leader at FCC.

Cameron is in 11th grade. He also enjoys playing basketball and video games. He is currectly a member of the Drama Club, where he acted in The Boarding House Reach and Mary Poppins during the 2019-19 school year. He has a leadership role in the BHS Criminal Justice program. He is currently working on getting his drivers license, as well as his drone pilots license. Cameron also serves as Chaplain for the Christian Motorcyclist Association JUST BAD Youth Chapter.

Ray enjoys playing with his toys, Curious George, Paw Patrol, and spending time with his family.

Phillip and family are very active in their local Christian Motorcyclists Association. Phillip and Cindy served as officers from 2012-2014. In 2019, Phillip was elected to serve as Chaplain, and Cindy as Secretary of the Revelation Riders of CMA, Cabot chapter. Cameron is a member of the CMA Yourh Movement. Ray is also a CMA Kids member. 

The Sterling family is also involved in The CALL of White County. Phillip and Cindy are members of the leadership team.
